Yummy on Bike Tour has 4 stops: 2 main foods, 1 sightseeing and 1 dessert.

1a. Bun cha Ha Noi

FIRST STOP: please choose 1 among 3 choices below in booking time:

Option 1: Bun Cha Hanoi and Nem Ran:  a Vietnamese dish of grilled pork and noodle, which is thought to be originated from Hanoi, Vietnam. Bun Cha is served with grilled fatty pork over a plate of white rice noodle and herbs with a side dish of dipping sauce. Not only that, you will be able to try Nem Ran, made from ground meat, usually pork, wrapped in rice paper and deep-fried.

1b. Bun dau mam tom

Option 2: Bun dau mam tom. Mắm tôm or shrimp paste is popular in many parts of Asia including Vietnam. I know some of you may react to this dish: “Ewww”, but come on. One of the reasons why you travel is to see the world in all its diversity, isn’t it? So why not give “mắm tôm” a chance? This dish comprises of rice noodles, tofu, shrimp paste and, last but not least, odoriferous herbs or basil. Don’t let the smell fool you, once you try you can never stop! And have you ever heard of spring rolls? If you haven’t, it’s the same with Nem Rán, but it has many names due to regions in Viet Nam.

1c. Banh Xeo (Vietnamese pancake)

Option 3: Banh Xeo. The name is literally translateed to “sizzling cake,” after the sound the rice batter makes when it is poured into the hot pan. It is loaded with tasty ingredients like shrimp, pork, and bean sprouts. At first glance, you might think that these are omelettes. I know we did. But, there’s actually no egg in the batter for these pancakes. Rather, it’s turmeric that gives the batter its characteristic yellow hue.

2. Anh Sao Bridge

Anh Sao Bridge (Star Bridge), located in District 7, where locals choose to hang out after a long day at work or school.

The poetic view of this place is breathtakingly beautiful. Each step you take feels like you’re walking on the sky.

Not only that, the Half Moon Lake is good for photos as well, so pull out your camera and get ready for some good pictures!

3. Seafood

We have scallops grilled with spring onion and peanut, clams steamed with lemongrass and ginger, sea snail with morning glory, grilled prawns,…

Enjoy them with some Vietnamese beers, relax and escape from life for a moment, who can say no to that!

4. “Chè”

Vietnamese Sweet Beverage (Chè), is any traditional Vietnamese sweet dessert soup or pudding. Varieties of Chè are made with mung beans, black-eyed peas, kidney beans, tapioca, jelly (clear or grass), fruits and coconut cream. Trust me, you will love this one. Food goes to your stomach, but dessert goes to your heart!
